RISE exists to help quality teachers find and stay in work environments where they can realize their potential. It's free to join, and applying through RISE gives you direct access to over 60 dynamic principals in low-income schools, greatly increasing the chances of positive placement and long-term success.

RISE Offers:
  • Access to a database of jobs at over 60 RISE Partner Schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Chicago — and a direct connection to their principals.
  • Information about prescreened Partner Schools to help you find the best fit for you, along with insight into each school's culture and expectations that goes beyond what ordinary job descriptions offer.
Over 1,000 teachers have joined the RISE Network to make a real difference in the lives of low-income students.
RISE Requires:
  • High expectations for students in underserved communities.
  • At least 1 year of full-time teaching experience (beyond student or substitute teaching) with a low-income population in a K-12 classroom in the U.S.
  • A valid credential or current enrollment in a credentialing program.
  • A completed application, a resume (Microsoft Word format), and at least one senior reference.
